The 24th edition of the International Circus Festival of Italy has ended , which took place in Latina in via Rossetti from 12 to 16 October. Over the course of five days, 100 artists from 24 nations competed in the nine shows with 22 great , different and original attractions.
To frame the numbers of the 24th edition of the International Circus Festival of Italy the live music of the masters Fabiano Giovannelli drums and direction, Daniele Manciocchi sax, Mario Caporilli Trumpet, Stefano Coccia Trombone, Massimo Ioffreda Piano and Keyboards, Lorenzo Mancini and Simone Todini electric bass, Gianluca Verrengia guitar and Guido Naus arrangements.
The competition was presented by Andrea Giachi and Alessia dell’Acqua. «I am really satisfied, this was also an edition that many will carry in their hearts for a long time, full of expectations and emotions that exceeded all the most optimistic predictions, in terms of the type of numbers, jurors and VIPs who attended – he stated Fabio Montico president of the Giulio Montico Association – Looking at the International Circus Festival of Italy as a platform that encourages fruitful and peaceful meetings and discussions between different schools of thought or different styles of artistic production is an exciting challenge for me and of absolute satisfaction.”
The competing artists , on alternate days, tested themselves in front of two juries , leading up to the spectacular gala evening on Monday .
To the critics’ jury , made up of seventeen representatives: from newspapers, paper, web and sector press, Local, National and International; from circus enthusiasts and VIPs, the task of choosing the most original and innovative among the 22 new acts proposed during the festival. The critics’ award went to Duo Sweet Darkness

As soon as the curtain falls on the 24th edition, we are already thinking about the next one, with the hope of being able to select numbers from all over the world, without distinction of territories. « At the end of this edition I would like to thank all the very close-knit staff of the International Circus Festival of Italy and all the members of the Giulio Montico Association who, with their dedication and professionalism, allowed everything to take place in the best possible way .
